Center for Ethics in Government (CEG) CEG is located at the USA National Conference of State Legislatures
Center for the Study of Ethics in the Professions (CSEP) CSEP was established in 1976 as part of Illinois Institute of Technology and provides publications and online resources on ethics. See for example the publication Thinking like an engineer: The place of a code of ethics in the practice of a profession by Michael Davis and the links to other ethics centers and resources.
CODEX Swedish Research Council's gateway to various research ethics and professional guidelines. It is run in collaboration with the Centre for Bioethics at Karolinska Institutet & Uppsala University.

EthicNet Databank for European Codes of Journalism Ethics
Export Control Bill "Problems with the Export Control Bill": An article by Ross Anderson about the Export Control Bill submitted to the UK Parliament in April 2002, which has serious implications for academic freedom. As originally submitted, it would have given ministers the power to review and suppress any scientific papers prior to publication, and to license foreign students taught by British nationals anywhere in the world.
Graduation Pledge Alliance Humboldt State University (California) initiated the Graduation Pledge of Social and Environmental Responsibility. It states, "I pledge to explore and take into account the social and environmental consequences of any job I consider and will try to improve these aspects of any organizations for which I work." Students define for themselves what it means to be socially and environmentally responsible.

An independent organisation concerned with the ethics and risks of genetic engineering. It questions how, why and whether the use of genetic technologies should proceed and believes that the debate over genetic engineering is long overdue.

GM Watch Their focus is on the use of hype, propaganda and spin to promote GM technology, and on exposing the role played by corporate-friendly scientists, industry front groups, PR companies, lobbyists, and political groups.
Greenpeace International Greenpeace is an independent, campaigning organisation which uses non-violent, creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems

Bioweapons Prevention Project

Global civil society activity that aims to strengthen the norm against using disease as a weapon. The project works to reduce the threat of bioweapons by monitoring and reporting throughout the world. BWPP supports and is supported by a global network of partners.

Committee of Concerned Scientists (CCS) CCS is an independent organization of scientists, physicians and engineers dedicated to the protection and advancement of the human rights and scientific freedom of colleagues throughout the world
Conflict Research Society The Conflict Research Society is a body based in the UK that promotes research and the extension of knowledge about conflict processes and cooperation of all kinds.
Conservation Science Institute Ethics Initiative Public service organization dedicated to providing quality science for enabling the recovery of ecosystems and the communities and economies they support. CSI is a conservation science think thank and a vehicle for young conservation scientists. It is a non-lobbying, non-advocacy, charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
