Under the Radar: the carbon footprint of Europe's military sectors

Militaries are high consumers of fossil fuels – and yet they are frequently exempt from publicly reporting their carbon emissions. This is equally true in the EU, and so this report examines the size of the military carbon footprint in this region. It then critically assesses the policies and measures in place to reduce them, arguing that they are inadequate.
